On May 9th, my little pup, Eddie, passed away from cancer. His last twelve hours of life came to a sudden fruition, and (sad to say it) they were really painful for him physically, and for my family emotionally.

He had cancer for a while but he was a strong little guy.
Even in his last few minutes he was relentless, refusing to lie down despite feeling so weak.

He filled my childhood with so much love, humor and mischief.
We miss his feisty little presence every day.

It amazes me how much animals can mean to people.

I love this little guy so so so much,
and I miss him dearly.

About a month ago I got a new camera for my birthday, and it was a week before my birthday that we received Eddie's cancer diagnosis. So, before I headed back to school to finish my semester, I snapped some photos of him just in case he didn't make it to my summer break.
Fortunately he waited it out for me, and died the week I returned home. But I
treasure my pictures from that little "photo shoot."

So, I want to share some of my favorites.
I may be bias, but I don't think anyone can deny his cuteness ;)

Love you, Mr. Edward
